At a Glance: Pop Up Adventures take place throughout the year on school holidays and teacher in-service days. Kids don’t have to wait for summer to get outside—these single-day programs offer a chance to reconnect with nature, friends, and hands-on adventure right when families need it most. All programs take place on our campus grounds in Bremen.
Activities: Pop Up Adventures are rooted in exploration, gratitude, friendship-building, and plenty of unstructured outdoor play. The rhythm of the day balances guided activities with open-ended time for kids to roam, imagine, and create.
Seasonally, adventures may include snowshoeing through fresh powder, paddle boarding on calm water, hiking local trails, fort building, group games, and nature-based challenges. Camp craft is always part of the experience—hands-on projects like fire building, simple outdoor cooking, carving, knot tying, shelter building, and other practical skills that build confidence and capability.
Every Pop Up Adventure is designed to get kids outside, moving their bodies, working together, and returning home happily tired.
Suggested Age Range: Pop Up Adventures are best suited for youth in 1st through 5th grade. Activities are thoughtfully structured to support curiosity, creativity, and age-appropriate independence.
