Join us for the third annual Paddle for a Purpose charity event! Born from the brains of fellow paddlers, the mission of Paddle for a Purpose is simple: get people out on the water with intention.

This year the paddle will launch from Glidden Point Oyster Farm and folks will paddle upriver, with the incoming tide, to the Damariscotta Town Landing. Then, the party will take place at Shuck Station on Main Street in Damariscotta! The party will include a live auction, local brews, food for purchase from Shuck Station, and live music from Primo Cubano. Lucy's Granola is donating the pre-paddle snacks and coffee will be provided.

Don't have paddling equipment? No problem, head on over to Midcoast Kayak for a rental. Be sure to book in advance if you know you will need one. Inventory is not guaranteed.

Ticket Information

Paddle Tickets include the following: Shuttle into town from Glidden Point Oyster Farms, Morning snack + coffee, Paddle For A Purpose Swag, 1 Drink Ticket, Entrance to Party, and a Base Donation to Hearty Roots.

Adult Paddle Tickets: $100
Kid 12+ Paddle Tickets: $35
Kids under 18 must be accompanied by an adult on the water.

Adult Party Tickets: $25
Kids 12+ Party Tickets: $15
Kids under 12 are free - use the code P4PKIDDO when registering your child under 12 years old.
