Campus for Mindful Adventure
In May 2024, we were honored to close on a pristine, preserved property in Bremen—a true sanctuary and midcoast gem. This milestone would not have been possible without the steadfast support of Eleanor Kinney and The Peter Alfond Foundation, and we remain deeply grateful for their belief in our vision. From the beginning, we have approached this land as dedicated stewards, nurturing its natural beauty while thoughtfully developing it to support transformative outdoor experiences for youth.
In our first year, we laid the foundation for safe, program-ready spaces with two driveways, a trail network, two privies, and a small warming hut. In 2025, we focused on a satellite site on Biscay Pond: an open-air pavilion, a privy, and improved trail accessibility—all designed to welcome young people to explore, learn, and connect with nature.
Looking ahead to 2026, we are excited to bring our long-term vision to life through a comprehensive master plan. Our goal is to create a campus that blends practicality with inspiration—a barn, cabins, a “heartquarters,” and thoughtfully designed trails and outdoor spaces that are safe, inclusive, and accessible. These improvements will allow generations of youth to experience novel outdoor adventures, build confidence, and develop meaningful connections with the natural world. We look forward to unveiling these plans in June and sharing how this property will serve as a home base for innovation, learning, and lasting impact.
