Campus for Mindful Adventure

We believe local, nature-based intervention helps stem the tide of the mental health crisis that disproportionately affects Maine’s youth. Our non-clinical, therapeutic offerings have made an enormous impact on area youth, families, and our collective community. Now we are setting down roots, giving kids a home where they can become stewards of themselves and the land.

SMALL GIFT. MIGHTY IMPACT.

We closed on a pristine piece of Bremen property in May of 2024 with the steadfast support of Eleanor Kinney and The Peter Alfond Foundation. We developed some modest infrastructure in Year One: two driveways, a trail network, two privies, and a small warming hut.

Our energy towards campus development in 2025 has been focused on program-facing infrastructure in incremental steps. To support year-round adventures for local kids, we built an open air pavilion and an outhouse, and improved trail accessibility.

We get by with a LOT of help from our friends! Volunteers have put their hearts and souls into helping us raise the pavilion, get the “privy palace” up and running, and expand our dock so that kids can sprawl with abandon. our first full summer on the land has been dreamy…but There’s always more to do, so let us know if you have an itch to spend time in the woods making the campus even more beautiful!
