Program Coordinator
Salary: $50,000
Benefits Stipend: $2340
PTO: 10 days, 11 Federal Holidays, 5 days between Christmas and New Year’s

The coordinator is approximately a 50/50 split between direct service and administrative duties 40 hours per week. Brand new to the organization, this dynamic position has been identified as a crucial role for our growing team, expanding programs, and increasing administrative demands.
From January through early June, this position follows a consistent hybrid schedule, with direct service in school-based programs on Mondays and Tuesdays and administrative support in the office or occasional program substitute days on Wednesday through Friday. As we transition into the summer season, the role shifts to a more fluid structure, alternating between weeks dedicated to administrative and program support and weeks focused on facilitating day camps and teen overnight trips. Day camp and administrative weeks run Monday through Friday, while overnight, multi-day trips may require days outside of the traditional weekday schedule. Time off is provided in surrounding weeks to balance extended hours.
In a nutshell, we’re looking for a qualified and adaptable unicorn that can flex between the two sides of the organization: facilitate high-quality outdoor based youth programs, and support the administrative team with a wide variety of tasks and initiatives behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities: administrative
Database Management & Reporting:
Maintain and ensure accuracy for an internal database that tracks participant involvement, demographics, retention, and outcomes.Monitor data integrity and perform regular audits and clean-ups
General Administrative Support:
IT platforms and systems: google suite, canva, sawyer, bloomerang
Handle day-to-day admin tasks: ordering supplies, supporting pack in / out logistics for programming and events
Assist multiple departments with their overflow admin needs: communications, fundraising, marketing, etc.
Represent the organization at community events
Key Responsibilities: Programming
Direct Service & Youth Engagement
Facilitate SEL lessons, nature skills sessions, outdoor exploration, and community-building activities.
Maintain a safe, supportive, and responsive environment for all participants.
Model positive relationships, emotional regulation, and conflict resolution.
Communicate regularly with families, caregivers, and school/daycare partners.
Program Support (Non–Direct Service Time)
Assist with registration tasks, attendance tracking, and documentation.
Support curriculum development, lesson planning, and materials prep.
Contribute to policies, systems improvements, and program evaluations.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and reflective practice.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with the Program Manager and Director to uphold program quality.
Offer insights from program delivery to inform curriculum and planning.
Support other staff with logistics, communication, and field needs.
Required Skills:
Experience working with youth of all ages, ideally in outdoor or experiential learning settings.
Comfortable facilitating safe and inclusive outdoor adventures in all seasons and in a variety of settings in Lincoln County.
Knowledge of Social-Emotional Learning principles, developmental psychology, trauma-informed practices, or related youth support work.
Proficiency with google suite & canva
Experience managing IT platforms, with a willingness to train in our three main databases
Organization: scheduling, reporting, record-keeping, documentation, and excellent project coordination
Flexibility: this position requires someone who can easily pivot, jump in to fill gaps, and show up with enthusiasm for both programming with youth, as well as confidently lead essential administrative support.
